I showed a buddy of mine the Mapquest app on my iPhone.  I almost didn't bother, thinking he probably loves the Google maps app that comes with the iPhone by default.  But much to my surprise, he told me that he hardly ever uses the Google Maps - that he does not like it!

After playing with the Mapquest app for awhile he said he liked, found it easy to use, and downloaded it for his own iPhone. The lesson here is spread the word, not everybody loves Google Maps.

I would like to see Apple offer Mapquest app users the chance to switch to it as the default map application on the iPhone.
